Happy New Year!!!
And welcome back. I know I have been gone a long time, but I’m back for a short time & I just want to continue thinking out loud about this funny little thing we call “Discrimination”.
Anyway to make a long story short, I have never known that there are a lot of people here in the United States of America, or at least here in California, if not Southern California that love to discriminate.
And I am not talking about your normal everyday variety. But what I am referring to is discrimination against watching movies if not any kind of show.
And why is that? Because never in my life have I heard a lot of people say that they never saw this or that movie because they do not care about so & so, who was an actor or an actress in that movie.
As in what? If so & so is doing a cameo role in a movie you will totally NOT watch that movie?
Yes, that is correct. And if you ask them why they would say because he or she is in it.
Huh? If you ask them further, then they say because so & so is such an *&^%$.
Or she is such a @#$%^&*.
Or you know he is such a @*#&$^%.
As in what? (Yes as in they are actually “punishing” the actor or the actress by not patronizing any movie he or she takes a part in).
Yes, they will actually “discriminate” against a show just because such & such is playing a role in it.
Oh come on.
Yes, even if it was a great movie. Yes, even if it was the movie of the century. And, yes even if they are the only person left in his or her generation who hasn’t watched that movie at least once.
Now that is discrimination in my book.
How about in yours?
